Jason Brooks received his Bachelor's Degree from San Francisco State University. Mr. Brooks received his Juris Doctorate from University of Pittsburgh School of Law and his LLM in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center.
While at University of Pittsburgh School of Law he was a Dean's List Recipient, and received the Gerald K. Gibson Memorial Award for excellence in the study of bankruptcy. Mr. Brooks served as an Associate Editor for the Pittsburgh Tax Review, a student law journal that focused on tax law. Mr. Brooks was also an active participant in the Low Income Tax Law clinic which provided low income individuals with pro-bono legal assistance in issues involving the IRS. Mr. Brooks interned with Judge Judith Fitzgerald of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
He is licensed to practice in New York State, Connecticut, Western District of New York ,Eastern District of New York, Southern District of New York, & Northern District of New York. He will be concentrating his practice with the firm to creditor's rights and bankruptcy.
